This project posed a few obstacles as we bypassed a 320’ internal gutter system and built a taper system which moved all the water to opposite ends of the facility to custom made scupper boxes. Also, staging the project was a bit of a challenge, the facility remained in constant operation 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. Steel production was never affected.
